Hello To Our Partners
I want to give you an update on today 15 December 07. The first Angel Food Truck to deliver in West Branch arrived @ 0630 (-1 F) to bring the food that people had purchased. Thank you to those of you who gave over and above your order to provide for others. There were 20 smiling faces waiting to begin unloading the truck and spread the cheer to The Sunrise side, Melita, Houghton Lake, and West Branch.
Once we were going we all stepped right into a grove and the truck was unloaded in just over an hour. EXCELLENT TIME GUYS!!!! I want to say thank you for the hand trucks from the workers from H.L. Thank you brother Les for the pallet jack and hand truck what a difference that makes. Thank you Nan for buying the coffee cups so we could all get our cup of hot coffee when we were finished. Thank you to everyone inside setting up. Ms Blizzard showed up (no pun intended that is her name) and took a bunch of pictures. As you can see it was a unified process.
Then we began to distribute the boxes of food. I love to see the happiness on people's faces as they get the box of food. I have to tell you that by the time the last box is out the door I am ready to eat some of that food. The mind is really powerful.
We also were able to bless the Family of a deployed soldier. The wife said she is used to helping everyone else. Her husband is a team leader, the front vehicle in the convoys of three trucks of supply. Pray for Him as Brother Front-man. I love being a giver there is no greater thrill in this life.
We are going to be able to help another 10 military families and 5 local families with a free box of food. Thank YOU! Thank YOU! Thank YOU! I pray that God blesses you and your family with HIS Grace and strength this next year.
I have to tell you one more awesome testimony of an open door and favor. We met the manager of 5 different apartment complexes. He offered to have us come and put a menu on each door in the apartment complex. What an amazing opportunity to get the food to so many more people.
I wanted to include you in this awesome day of Victory that you helped provide. Thank you for your financial support to Angel food! Thank you for your prayers for the favor of God to be with us. It is obvious that you had us in your thoughts and in your prayers.
I want to leave you with the Words of Jesus, "He that gives a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple will not loose his reward". Thank you, you gave so much more today and I am very grateful for your partnership.
